Sure is awful quiet in this thread. I wish I could provide meaningful information, but I'm still on pins and needles.

It's been radio silence regarding admissions on the whole forum. Hopefully we get a big wave soon.

I remember someone in another thead stating that under the Documents section on your portal the Date Reviewed info changes depending on when it was last viewed by admissions, which could tell you if they were grading your package. Any verification on this?

I just checked, none of mine have been reviewed later than January 28th.

Congratulations, that's great news! Does anyone know if the Preppies find out after the Direct Entries? Or does everyone find out at the same time?

They are currently finding out... my son was notified in January.

I called my counselor a while back and asked the exact same question about this. She said that the "Date Reviewed" has nothing to do with the admissions board. The date that shows up is when your admissions counselor processed those items that you turned in, essentially acknowledging on your application that you turned in those items.

Congrats! Do you care to share stats? I am still transmit, no receive on my radio lol

I'll share. I found out so late, I think I barely made the cut for direct entry.

SAT: 1470 (740 Math, 730 English)

High School:
GPA: 3.1
2 Honors Math Classes
1 AP Math Course, 5 on the test
No sports or leadership, but I was working nearly full time.

College:
GPA 3.6
Mostly STEM courses, around 22.5 credits over a semesters and a summer.
No leadership, no sports.

Enlisted:
Not much to say here. I had good reviews from some really great leadership, but I haven't wont any awards or anything along those lines. I did a few volunteer events but mostly avoided them like the plague.

CFA: Just terrible. Just under average for most categories, significantly below average for other.

Interview: Went moderately well, didnt have great answers to a lot of the questions.

If you have any questions, please let me know. One thing I wish I was told prior to arriving was that it doesn’t matter what color your running shoes are, just bring good ones!

Congratulations to everyone thus far.

For the people that received direct appointments congrats! What day do you report to the USAFA? What day are you leaving your base? and can you take leave enroute?

I Day is June 25th, it's always the last thursday in June. I haven't made a complete plan yet, but I'm planning on using the majority of my leave before I out process from my current base. I skimmed through last years LEAD thread and a lot of people said that the orders dropped really late, and I dont want to get stuck selling it. You can almost definitely take leave on route, but I dont have a solid source on that.
