I'll share. I found out so late, I think I barely made the cut for direct entry.

SAT: 1470 (740 Math, 730 English)

High School:
GPA: 3.1
2 Honors Math Classes
1 AP Math Course, 5 on the test
No sports or leadership, but I was working nearly full time.

College:
GPA 3.6
Mostly STEM courses, around 22.5 credits over a semesters and a summer.
No leadership, no sports.

Enlisted:
Not much to say here. I had good reviews from some really great leadership, but I haven't wont any awards or anything along those lines. I did a few volunteer events but mostly avoided them like the plague.

CFA: Just terrible. Just under average for most categories, significantly below average for other.

Interview: Went moderately well, didnt have great answers to a lot of the questions.

When did you submit your application? I submitted mine last minute on the due date. My stats are just about the same as yours. You give me some hope that you got direct since I can’t go to the prep due to my age.

Mine was very last minute as well. It seems a little late, but good luck!

I've just been made aware that SECDEF has issued a stop movement on deployers for 60 days. I'm sure a few of you must be deployed, any word on how this translates to the Application process for USAFA/USAFAPS?

Hey everyone,

My Flt CC called me on the phone yesterday to tell me I've been offered a spot at USAFA Prep! I'm so ecstatic. Feels like I've been refreshing my portal 10x a day, it was worth the wait though. Good luck to everyone!!

‘congrats. There is a USAFA Prep list for Class of 2021 in the SA Prep thread; if you want to add yourself!

Have any direct entry or prep school appointees received an assignment from AFPC or orders from MPF yet?

I've heard that these come extremely late. I'm really worried about this
Yeah, it would be nice to out process earlier and use leave en route to see family before hand. The COVID-19 outbreak probably doesn't help with this either.

I have received official travel orders on my portal, is this the same thing? I was also assigned my cadet PO box.

Whats up everyone. just found this forum and thought I'd hop in. I'll be a part of the direct entry group CO24. looking forward to meeting all of you

If anyone has any questions about the prep school, please feel free to DM me or ask here. I was a prior at the P this year and can give you guys some good insight.
Thanks for your help to start off with.
When do orders typically drop to begin out processing of my current base?
Additionally, did you have to bring a copy of or fill out a new SF-86 security clearance form? I spoke with my security manager about getting that, but have not gotten an answer from him yet.

No problem, I was stationed in AK and found out about my appointment to the P in January (super early). My orders dropped on June 6th of last year and I never had to bring any security paperwork with me to the prep school. We already have a clearance and it was never a concern on I-day.

The academy works on orders for USAFA direct entry first, then the prep school. I reached out to the total force service center and was able to inquire about orders and if anything came up (210-565-0102). You may get orders earlier this year as your report date is earlier.

I would just keep in constant communication with your supervisor and be ready to run around your base like crazy when orders drop.

P.S. It is also important to complete your appointee kit when it drops ASAP. I believe they will not send you orders if your appointee kit is not complete.

Thank you for the reply. My appointee kit is complete and now I am just waiting on orders to out process.

Hey, any direct entries got either their assignment or orders yet? I've finished my appointee kit but still don't have an assignment. Im trying to take leave enroute so hopefully i get it soon, just kinda checkin where yall were at.
