Hey guys, I just want to know what my chances are. I am an Active Duty enlisted Airman. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I moved to the states when I was 17. I learned how to speak English. I graduated high school last 2010. Ranked 11 out of 1,112 students. My GPA is 4.02. I took various Honors Classes during high school. We didn’t have any AP classes and Honors is the highest that my high school has. I played volleyball, basketball, badminton and soccer.

I’ve organized a lot of events in the SQ, GRP, WING and AF level communities. I am also involved with my base’s private organizations. I was nominated for the Airman of the Quarter during my first three months on station and Airman of the Year for 2015. I was also awarded with the Chief’s Group’s SHARP Airman of the Month December 2015.
Not being a citizen barred me from applying to the Academy 4 years ago. Now that I became a naturalized citizen, I am so pumped to apply. I want to give back to the Air Force and become a greater asset. The plan is to stay in the AF for more than 20 years and commission. My plan B is to commission through the SOAR Program (ROTC) and plan C is through SLCP. My application status is actually completed now. I maxed out my CFA and I am also medically qualified. The only thing that I am scared of is my ACT scores (Eng – 19, Math – 16). It’s been 6 years already since I graduated high school and I didn’t know that you have to take the SAT/ACT to apply for a college in the states, we didn’t have that in the PH. I still completed my application and still hoping to go to the Prep School then the Academy. Any thoughts about my situation? You guys have an awesome day!
