Has anyone been accepted through the LEAD program? Or is everyone still waiting to hear back?

I applied through the Lead program, but haven't heard anything. I have 2 friends who applied through the Lead program though. Both of them already got their acceptance letter for the prep school in Mid-March. I'm getting nervous now, the only thing i have going for me is all of our applications we're pretty much the same as far as qualificstjons goes.

Ok what are your stats? what base are you applying from?

I applied through LEAD and found out yesterday by my commander for direct entry.

I applied through the LEAD program as well. Still have yet to hear anything. Called admissions about two weeks ago and was told they have looked at my file, but not made a decision.

Applying from Aviano.
CFA:
BB throw - 41'
Pull-ups - 7
Shuttle run - 9.9
Sit ups - 65
Push ups - 34
Mile: 9:13

SAT (I took the new one)
Reading/Writing: 520
Math: 560

Awards/Extra Curricular:
Amn of the Year
Amn of the Quarter
Amn of the Month
CDC awards on both sets
A First Shirt award
Airmen's Council
AADD Council
A few college credits

I honestly don't know how I stack compared to the other LEAD applicants...Let me know if I'm missing anything.

You?

I'm an A1C at Minot waiting to hear back as well. I'm assuming it's better to still be a candidate than denied but we'll see.

Just heard back today. I was a non-selectee. Called admissions to provide further detail (was it test scores, cfa, etc.) and all they could tell me was that there was someone that was more competitive than me.

Sorry to hear that! I just sent you a PM

If I had to guess why, I would say it was because of your CFA. Your mile time was probably a little too slow, along with your struggle on the push ups and sit ups. Average mile for females is 7:30, while the average push ups is 41, and sit ups are 78. Maybe they'll offer you a Prep School appointment?

I'm from Wright Patterson! I'm a SSgt. Stats weren't high compared to some I've seen. I'm 22, would be 23 next year. Received Airman of the Quarter three times. Airman of the Year once. Achievement Medal. ALS Flight Leader and Commandant Award Nominee. I've worked two different intel missions. Scored 26 on ACT. And HS GPA was 3.57. Haven't taken college courses since I graduated in 2013.
