IF YOU ARE A USAFA GRAD --

Legacy parents are those who have graduated from USAFA. Your Association of Graduates is inviting you to join them in the Stillman Parade Field just prior to the swearing in.

Are those parents who also served in the military invited to this event?
Its for USAFA grads and family with incoming basic cadets (BC).

The Association of Graduates (AOG) will present the grads with a squadron pin from their firstie year & another pin with their BC's incoming squadron.

Once the BC moves into the legacy squadron (currently 3 deg year), the grad will get another pin to match their own.

It just a fun little ceremony to acknowledge grads and their family's "Long Blue Line".

We are looking forward to it!

Thank you!! I'm hoping there will be more legacy events in the future because it would be fun to connect with other grad parents.
That's the plan! If you have not already joined on Facebook, you may want to do so. Search for usafa2026parents
Parents get updates from USAFA, the AOG, and can meet other 2026 parents over the next 4 years.

I have and it has been a great resource. I haven't had a lot of contact with the AOG since graduation despite having friends and classmates working for them. I was just too busy raising and homeschooling 4 boys. However, they have been an amazing resource and support since my '26er got his appointment. I just want to say that both the AOG reps I've corresponded with and the Spirit Committee reps have been great!
