Hello,
I'm currently applying for the Marine Option NROTC scholarship. I have 20/20 vision in my right eye, and about 20/60 in my left. According to my recruiter, so long as one eye is 20/20, the other can be as bad as 20/100 for ROTC, so I shouldn't have any problems there. But I also have a lens implant in my left eye, that doesn't (and shouldn't) interfere at all with my ability to function, nor would it prohibit me from any kind of training etc. But it is disqualifying without a waiver. Does anyone have any experience with how likely it might be for me to receive a waiver?
Thanks.
