Let me know when you spot it.

Rut row.
At least there aren’t those tacky tail hooks in the “dirty” position.
😱

There are some great photos at this link to counterbalance the chilling whiff of salt air produced by the graphic:

Double Rut Row. The paint job smacks you right in the face.

Is there pranking going on?

I can’t believe the typo in “year’s past.”

trompe l’oeil (trick of the eye, or optical illusion) is what it should have said above. No idea why autocorrect changed the spelling and capitalized the trompe. That's what I get for using 2-dollar French terms. Here's a trompe l’oeil for everyone.

I think some Navy and Marine pilots don't view it that way. ;)
No, they wouldn't...but then, they've never flown an Eagle (I can't speak for the Lawn Dart or the Raptor). The last F-18 I saw "close up" was in my HUD...he lost.

But all inter-service kidding aside, it's a VERY capable jet...especially in a "high alpha turning fight."

My comment was related to the parents' group member that didn't know what airplane they were choosing for the announcement.
