Letter of Assurance (LoA) without Nomination

For what it's worth (prob not all that much, but here I go regardless...): DS had a nomination prior to his LOA as well. Timeline: MOC interview, Dec 12. Informed of MOC nom, Dec 18. Conditional Offer of Appointment (LOA) posted on Portal, Jan 12. Offer of Appointment, Jan 20.

Offered as data points in the hope that they provide further insight into a process that (at times) seems to have more exceptions than rules...
 
Matt, lots of advice on here, but I don't think its anything you haven't already heard from your BGO. Yes you are in a unique situation, but it is honestly one that comes up every single year for multiple people. Agree with murf that this is your future, but before calling anyone in admissions, I would highly recommend you check in with your BGO to discuss. Right now they are racking and stacking things in admissions and they are probably being adjust by the hour.
