I would just like to thank everyone for their assistance in my application process. Whatever questions I had were promptly answered. After months of nervous and frantic checking, I am extremely thankful to receive a letter of assurance from the United States Naval Academy. The timing could not be better. My last congressional interview is this Friday- and as many of you know, Maryland (District 4) is probably the most competitive district in the nation. The LOA will immensely help in my process of getting a nomination.

Again, I thank everyone for their assistance. You guys are awesome!

Congratulations! All that hard work has paid off, but continue to work hard in your last year of high school.

Congratulations on the LOA. Now, two things. First, stay on top of whatever contingency must still be met to turn that LOA into an offer of appointment. Second, ensure you have a strong Plan B in place. Because until you’re actually standing in Tecumseh Court on I-Day, right hand raised high, reciting the midshipman’s oath, that Plan B will be a great insurance policy.

I have even better news,

I came home today to a letter sitting from Congressman Anthony Brown (MD District 4) on my desk. I have received my congressional nomination to the United States Naval Academy.

Again, thanks to everyone for helping me out on this process.

I've had an LOA and got cleared by DoDMERB 2 weeks ago. However, I still haven't seen it marked on my USNA portal and haven't received my appointment (that was the last requirement I needed). Going crazy!!!

Patience is the key to success. Hurry up and wait is the military way.
My son received his LOA Oct 3rd. He just completed 3 interviews, Congressman, and 2 Senators. Dec 7, 10 & 11. Now we wait. 100% of his application has been completed.
