DS was advised by a coach they would receive a LOA, what does this mean for the application process?
TIA

I found this, hope it helps

A Letter of Assurance normally means that the applicant will receive an appointment if certain parameters are met. Typically that means that the applicant has to submit all of the required information in the time specified, and pass required fitness test and medical review. You can search this particular forum for information about LOAs, but if your applicant has a question, I would recommend they talk to their admissions officer.

The details and specifics will be laid out in the LOA.

Congratulations are in order as an LOA indicates you are a preferred applicant to the the Academy.

Good luck!

LOA at CGA gets you closer then at other SAs as you don’t need a nomination and CGA is test optional. Pass DODMERB, PFE and keep grades up and you should be good.

My DS just received his Letter of Assurance in the mail today :groupwave: Hopefully he will get word soon on where to go for his DoDmerb so we can get that scheduled.
He will receive dodmerb information after he submits his completed application. This comes by email and many times goes to spam or junk mail.
