Does USNA/Nomination letter of rec from a recruiter look good? I ask this because I run a the military club at my school, and I've worked closely with recruiters and will continue to do so to get more military exposure at my school. Before getting the club going and getting them on campus, our school has had almost zero exposure to anything military related, and I am the first to be able to get anything to this extent in my schools history. If I ask for a letter of rec from a recruiter that I have and will work close with, will this help my application? Or do they prefer it to be from people such as teachers?

I think the answers are in this thread:

Lol I'm the one that posted that. Ig my question with this is Do you think a recruiter can offer a different perspective than a teacher as they work on the military side and can attest to my effort in a different sense compared to a teacher?

What do you think? Don’t try and get a letter to appease admissions. Or your MOC’s. You need to get letters from people that know YOU.

First, for USNA , the teacher's provide an "evaluation" , not a "recommendation." They are asked to evaluate a number of factors, including academic performance, aptitude, attitude, and demeanor in the classroom. (I don't know the exact categories, this is recollection from an Admissions Office brief in the past).

There are lots of threads about additional recommendations. They are not necessary for USNA , but may be considered. If you are going to send one, make sure it is from someone that really knows you, and contributes or adds something to your application.. Admissions doesn't want to siphon through a bunch of repetitive recitals about what you have done, and really doesn't care who your parents know (i.e. a generic letter from some Flag Officer they met at a cocktail party, or a local government official they contributed to the campaign). This applies to the MOC recommendation as well, but being political animals, the MOC may take note if you have a LOR from some big campaign donor or other well known community figure.

Will a letter from a Recruiter help ? It really depends on what it says. If it merely recites that you started a Military Club, probably not.. If it describes how you single handely promoted awareness of Military careers and extolls your leadership virtues ..perhaps it might give a small boost.
