LGBT Citadel

Glad you feel better. :thumb:

Yup I plan on going to the first session of CSI. A lot of knobs have not recommended CSI (I think the price was higher last year), but I'm going because it'll be an easy way to take care of some basic courses and meet more people.

Cool, I'm doing the first session as well. I'm taking American government. Which one are you? And yeah, I think it'll be a great way to meet people too.

Oh wow, what a coincidence. I am taking American National Government too.

Oh, that's cool. I wonder how many sections they'll offer. There's a good posibility that we could be in the same section.

Glad to hear you found your place at the citadel and hope it works out for you. Whether you go into the corps of cadets or decide to be in their civilian program, I would agree with the previous comment in recommending not being totally open your first year--it's just easier that way and its not really anyone else's business... in the end it's your call--good luck.

I don't think anyone on this board goes to The Citadel to attend night classes after they complete two years at a partner college. The "civilian program" at The Citadel isn't what you seem to think it is. The Citadel is not Norwich or North Georgia.

Citadel evening community programs

Don't be drawn into NAS silly misrepresentations - he is from VMI and jealous - trying to confuse follks. I guess VMI's honor code allows quibbling. NAS knows the civilian evening school programs are for graduate and evening school undergraduate students - who only attend at night as part of the college's public institution responsibility to serve the low country of SC. These non-traditional students are taking advantage of the world class faculty at The Citadel. A limited number of Veteran students (less than 100) are also allowed, after screening, so they can extend their real live military experiences to Cadets. These gentlemen and ladies are some of the returning veterans that all citizens owe a sincere debt and gratitude for their service.

PS Congratulations to the Fourth Class which completes its first year with recognition ceremonies this month - 9 months of tough challenges - with a march to the Old Citadel through downtown Charleston.

Glen, your "jealous" comments are way off-base--but nice try, though.:thumb: Just trying to help out a LGBT student going to your school, whether that's in your corps or one of the citadel's varied civilian programs (recommend you look up "world-class" in the dictionary, Bud…)
