I am sitting here at my computer looking out my back window staring at a beautiful full moon casting it's rays across the fish pond in my back yard. The full moon's luminance is almost day like. At sea, these moons are called Lcdr moons. They are the only nights of the month that senior officers do not have important meetings which prohibit them from being on the night flight schedule.
 
As a Blackshoe, I'd never heard of this. Interesting, and funny. :thumb:
