I am interested in USAFA and USCGA; however, I read on a pamphlet to USCGA that the percentage of their graduates that serve longer than the required 5 years is very high (I believe around 80-90%). I believe that the pamphlet said it was due to their enjoyment in their careers.

I wonder if anyone can tell me what the percentage is for the USAFA graduates that serve longer than 5 years.

Well, it's hard to compare, because the AF requires a 10 year commitment for pilots, and just over half of USAFA grads get pilot slots currently.

Do they have a statistic for non-rated graduates? That would be interesting to see.
