Likelihood of waiver being denied

I applied to USAFA, USCGA, USMMA, and AFROTC. I was denied medically to all of these for the same reason, except AFROTC who just has not notified me yet. I just found out that I was denied a waiver to USMMA. What is the likelihood that I might get a waiver to any of these other places?

I am NOT a DODMERB official so take what I "speculate" with a "SALT BLOCK."

Having followed Larry Mullen's comments for many years, and having spoken with him directly in the past about a couple of my candidates, I think the answer will be:

"Waivers for the individual academies are done by the academy itself, after consultation with DODMERB or other medical authorities. Each is taken on a "case by case" basis and one may waiver what another will not."

In other words without a LOT more medical and administrative knowledge (which I do NOT have) I don't think you can "guess" what SA "X" will say versus SA "Y."

Ok thanks. I guess what I'm just trying to find out is who has the strictest medical requirements? I am trying to figure out basically where USMMA stacks up with the other academies when it comes to medical requirements to get in. Are they they really strict or not to much compared to the other academies?

I had open heart surgery when I was was 5 days old. But, I have never had any problems since then and I sent in paperwork from doctors showing that.
