I had a DS get the NROTC scholarship and now my DD is an active for that as well as USNA. Through it all I have limited my involvement to guidance, insight and feedback as the need to do this on their own. Sounds harsh; however, having been enlisted myself it's just how I think it needs to be. To their plus they both had a great 06 mentor but he has moved on to a new command. To that end my DD has a concern and has asked me for advise. So I'm now asking moderators and BGO's alike. The Academy has not updated my DD application for her records from the school guidance as well as her last ACT scores. The records were sent at the end of June and the ACT just after the scores were released. There is no point of contact for the Academy on her application other than a name. What's a DD to do?

Her Field Admissions Counselor is listed by name on the app, but each FAC has an email address included in the candidate packet.

There's also a help desk phone number in the packet, too.

Thank you for the feed. That's the information that is actually missing. This is no email point of contact listed. I have a direct contact at the Academy; however, it's not something I want to use.

Per some other threads there appeared to be a glitch in the system not updating test scores. It looked like this resolved for many other candidates late last week (Friday-ish). I am sure it will take some time for it to all update. Also with this time of year people are changing around in admissions, summer leave, training, etc. Her BGO should also be able to help her out with the new names if they haven't updated in admissions. Also if they are new you know it might take some time to get in the swing and clear out the back log. I know for my area they just changed and our Area Coordinator sent us an email with all the info.

Not harsh at all.... the way it should be. Looks like you have what you need for DD to contact Admissions, but DD can also contact her BGO to help clear it up. As NHoops indicated, there has been a glitch in the system.

When my DD was having an issue she just called the admissions number in Annapolis and they told her there was a glitch in the test scores being uploaded. Her scores were "fulfilled" per the college board website and not reported on her portal until last week.

Kept my involvement to the min and told her to contact her BGO. He helped her out, done deal. I'm out of it until the family interview. Same BGO that my son had really good guy.
