List: USAFA LOA without a NOM

Hi,

Creating this list to see who all are in same position (have LOA without a NOM) as I am in. Only Username, you can add any other data point as you wish.

1. usmagirl118 ( all MOC/Senators results out).
 
Are you a "blue chip" athlete? If you have an LOA, it usually will stipulate that you will be offered an Appointment contingent upon getting a nomination. Blue Chippers can sometimes receive a nomination from another source if the Academy really wants them. From 10 U.S.C. 9342: (d) "The Superintendent may nominate for appointment each year 50 persons from the country at large. Persons nominated under this paragraph may not displace any appointment authorized under clauses (2) through (9) of subsection (a) and may not cause the total strength of Air Force Cadets to exceed the authorized number." Don't count on this source, but it exists, and you cannot apply for it.
 
Did you get a nom for another academy? Just curious. I seem to recall that you posted previously that you received LOAs from more than one academy, which is incredibly impressive and which would make it even more surprising if you didn't get at least one nomination to an academy. Which district are you from?
 
I really hope you get your nomination. I'm in a different situation, I have three nominations and no LOA. Very stressful but I've learned to manage my expectations and go with the timeline, but it does suck. I'm an athlete, but Covid canceled our season last spring, so it throws everything off. Again, I really hope you get your nomination from somewhere and wishing you all the best. :)

I have LOA from USAFA, USNA.My LOA came after decisions were out by all MOCs.
