How long would someone have to accept an LOA if they were awarded one?

You don't accept LOAs, they're just letters to tell you that you are almost guaranteed a spot as long as you complete a few more things. Once you turn those things in, they'll most likely send an actual appointment letter that you have to accept or decline by the same deadline as everyone else, May 1st.

I saw on the USCGA book of faces page that the first student accepted his appointment to the class of 2024 the other day.
