Attend Stuyvesant High School. (Kind of the reason why i guess)

cricket team (NYC is the only place with a high school cricket league)

performed at several korean shows
General member of WAFL, a korean leadership development program. I got elected prez this year.

Member of Sports department and business section of newspaper (Quit after junior year)
Vice President of a k-pop culture club

SAT: 2050 (720 read, 640 math, 690 writing)
Act: 31 (30 eng, 33 math, 33 Read, 29 sci 8 writing)
my school doesn't rank students so i can't tell you what my school rank is.
I think it was my touching essay that got to them though
My only problem is, passing the basketball throw.....
I passed everything except for that on my cfa last time

Congrats! Your profile is strong. While yours and mine are both pure speculation, I'd suggest that a "touching" essay and your specific HS were merely Navy gravy on a good meal. The main course was definitely not those. All aspects are important, but all are neither deal breakers nor makers. Essays and HS don't make the man.
 
Got my LOA in the mail yesterday, 11/05/2010.... it was dated November 1st 2010. Just waiting on nominations now...

I am also a candidate and am wondering why the Women's Basketball Coach at USNA told me she could not recruit me at this time? Just wondering because some of you guys are talking about being recruited athletes... thanks guys and good luck!

Just need to finish one form with DOD
And complete my CFA
