LOA to Appointment?

December 14th status in CIS changed from LOA to pending and also got a call from my nomination source congratulating me.

It doesn’t hurt to ask. It doesn’t really help, either, looking at a single anecdote out of context. Best thing is to look up the latest class profile for the SA. It’s a much fuller, more dependable gauge of where you stand.

I am in the exact same situation as you, we have the same date of medical being checked off, do you think they will be giving appointments over the winter break?

That’s awesome, so congrats to our future appointments. But yeah, I would think so except for Christmas Eve/Christmas they most likely won’t be updating the portal. According to some others on here, the portal should update within several days and I’d assume we’d have the appointment in 2 weeks at most. If not, it’ll probably be soon into next year.

Similar situation to me. I received LOA for USAFA December 5th, nomination a few weeks after, and had everything done except DODMERB (I had gotten my physical/eye exams back in October but because of website issues). Appointment came on December 26th, but mentions it will is still reliant on my DODMERB being cleared.
