LOA

Congratulations! What a great thing to have going into the weekend!
How is the progress on the nom?
 
My DS has everything done for all the nominations. . At this point it is all about the wait though this makes that wait a whole lot easier.
 
Congrats navy dad. Did he complete all aspects of application except the nomination?
 
I'd wait for the letter before celebrating. It's probably correct but I've seen computer errors made many times before. And assuming it's correct... CONGRATULATIONS!
 
My son got the LOA via email about noon today. He's ecstatic and we are so proud.

"We are pleased to advise you that the Admissions Board has recommended you for admission to the United States Naval Academy with the Class of 2020. You are guaranteed an offer of appointment if your remaining admissions requirements are satisfactorily met. "
 
Congratulations as well. I recommend not sharing stats as it has no implication on others receiving an appointment or LOA.
 
It may help to contact his nominating sources in which he is applying and letting them know about it. I know for my senators and congressman they want their applicants to inform them about it, I think just a copy of the letter or something. But it won't hurt to say something to them about it
