I don't know what your medical waiver issue is but let us be clear: you are not FULLY QUALIFIED until you are 3-Q'd. And if you read through the DoDMERB threads, you may just find that the little issue of a waiver is particularly hard to come by, especially since you will be in stiff competition with hundreds of kids who need no such waiver - especially if you "plan" to become a pilot and will have to get this and several additional waivers later on.
Go ahead and read the DoDMERB threads: depending on your medical issue, you may be a bit surprised to learn how many do not get that waiver. Or for your situation, how many do.
