My daughter got an LOE from the Admissions Director today. Moving her ACT score up 7 points must have been the kicker. lol Her ACT/SAT scores are still not great, but around the mean of YG17's scores. She is middle to strong in all the other whole person areas. Additionally, she has two nominations. This is not just a blow my daughter's horn posting. It's also a note to the people who wonder if their competitive, even if they are not in the stratosphere with their SAT/ACT scores. Answer is YES Keep thinking the whole person score and improving across the board.

Yes, she will do the overnight. My daughter has been to WP several times and loves the environment. It will be great to get her in the barracks and the classroom. I took my son to WP years ago. He hated it and opted into the ROTC program at U. of Tampa (he is now a 2LT in Qatar). It was a great decision for him. Each individual needs to figure out what is right for themselves.

Congratulations... My DD was in the same position last year and finally received her call in March. She is loving every moment there and is thriving in the academic environment. Good luck, stay positive and keep working to improve every aspect of her application.
