I don't know about any others, but one of the reps/USMA grads said he had never heard of someone getting an LOE as early as I did, much less meet someone who did. I got mine 09/16/2013. Idk how this stacks up to others (surely I wasn't the first to get one), but my ALO said I was only 1 of 3 in the entire state (and half of another state) to receive an LOE at the time. Hope this helps.

Cadet85 - good info. My DD had so-so ACTs until recently. A week after her new ACT score was received by WP = LOE. direct correlation in my mind.

I was sort of similar. Always had so-so ACT's about 25-27. I was told my ACT scores were the ONLY weak spot in my profile. Took it one more time and got my math up to a 30 (and raised a few others) like they wanted :thumb:. Congrats on your DD's LOE!

Nobody can say for sure, however, I have been told by ALO's and other rep's that there is a very high chance that you will be admitted (as I have one too). But keep working to improve your file.

Quick little anecdote: I am good friends with a guy that used to be on the board of admissions at USMA. He told me that the only guy he ever knew that received an LOE and was not admitted was because he picked up a DUI charge. So you will most likely be admitted. However, you can do things that will prevent that obviously.
