I am looking for more schools whose deadlines haven’t passed that offer R & B for ROTC scholarship winners. I have a few schools that I have been accepted to, but I just wanted to come here and see if anyone knew of any decent schools that meet this criteria. I have looked online but I am seeing if anyone has personal insight/ advice.

Norwich! The birthplace of ROTC and they offer free room and board. Norwich was our son's plan B. If he hadn't received an appointment to USNA that is where he would be going in August. The admissions office and Cadre were and still are great at communicating with him and being supportive.

I know of 2 schools.
UT Arlington - AROTC, R&B provided by the unit. You have to talk to ROO at UT Arlington
Rice University - NROTC, R&B provided. Very selective school.

The deadline to apply has passed. :/

Norwich is not a very selective school. If you already have a ROTC scholarship in hand, reach out to them and see if they would accommodate a late application. ROTC scholarship means they are guaranteed payment for you - schools love guaranteed payments

I agree with Korab, there is no harm in reaching out to Command at Norwich and admissions. Our son has advised them he will not be attending. They have been supportive of his decision and encouraged him to consider them if anything changed. He was NROTC scholarship, Tier 1. Keep in mind, Norwich is isolated and cold, but has an excellent reputation for turning out great leaders, and a storied history.

Some schools offer for certain branches, which are you looking for?

No certain. I've never met him. I just know he's the one who has emailed my DS in the past. It's an unusual name so perhaps it could be.

Milwaukee School of Engineering University (MSOE) provides R&B scholarships for ROTC. MSOE is a crosstown program with Marquette University.

Here is a link with a list of schools that are still accepting applications. You can go through and then research if they offer room and board or any supplemental dollars for ROTC scholarship winners. You can compare the list to the thread titles Room and Board at the top of this board. Or go to the AFROTC college locator page, do a search for the school, and then click More Info. This will show is the school offers additional dollars. I'm guessing if they offer it for AFROTC then they'll offer it for any ROTC.
