Hi everyone!
I recently accepted my appointment and on my portal I have access to many of the forms that we need to fill out but I was wondering if anyone could tell me the information on the low quarters so that I can buy them ASAP.

I couldn't remember what the letter was called but I guess its called the authorization letter...thanks!
 
Everything is on your candidate portal. Look on the main page for the link that says "Go to your Admissible Mailings page", then look under the Second Admissible column and click on the pdf link that says "Shoe Purchases".

Be sure to follow all of the guidelines listed there or prepare to face the wrath of the firsties on R-Day.
 
hmmm... for some reason, my portal doesn't have the 2nd admissable mailings part ( I do have the first though). Would you mind posting the guidelines? I would like to try to get them today since I am usually pretty busy.

All you really have to do is go to an Army or Air Force (or you could try Navy, but may not get a warm reception) exchange with your acceptance letter and explain that you need a pair of Bates Oxford Leather dress shoes. The store clerk will help you from there.
 
You have to wait until you get the letter. The letter is needed to make the purchase.
There should also be a list of the military installations that carry the shoes. If you are traveling a long distance, I suggest you call first.
