Thanks mahopeful, the waiting is the worst part of the entire application process, I constantly keep checking my status but nothing, I guess if you get a Nomination that shows that you are competitive for admission. Good luck!!

I've been looking on this site for quite a while now and saw that there are a number people all over the country who have received appointments, but I haven't heard anything from MA. Has anyone heard back?

Also curious if anyone has heard back from either Senator Warren/Markey about the nomination. They should be sending them out soon but I was just curious.

I share your frustration. To call USNA admissions Byzantine would be an understatement. No word from Markey or Warren. No word on the slate she is on. No joy in Mudville!

It's even better in NC where the interviews for one senator haven't been held yet (rescheduled due to weather).

I share your frustration too, but it's just a waiting game now. Some people I know have received LOAs but have not received appointments due to the delay for slates to be submitted. Everyone should remain calm and wait towards the end of the month to receive their responses. Plus as we all know the two senators combined can only nominate 20 candidates this year. I have a JROTC Nom on my portal, but my file hasn't even been touched by admissions. Good Luck!!

It wasn't that bad - just a few inches of snow last weekend in some areas.. But they decided to be safe which I understand. Congratulations on your nomination!

Hang tough slates have to be in by end of month. Then we wait on portal updates and appointments to roll in.

I feel you, it's like they are going to run out of space. But don't worry MA has its own number of people that have to come out from the state also. They usually start giving out appointments as soon as MOC nominations come out, that means even if you got the order forms of nomination you might not hear back.

Is it possible that the Senators are waiting to see who receives an appointment from their MOC nomination before they start sending out their nominations?
 
Very frustrating. The academy has been sitting on the MA-1 slate for over a month. Appointments, appointments everywhere but not a drop to drink from MA!
 
I personally have decided not to check my mail box or log into CIS until March 20, this wait is psychological torture on a lot of people. Especially when everytime I login it's the same thing " Complete pending review" and I don't know why MA slates are submitted on the deadline almost every year. This is my advice to everyone that is so anxiously waiting, forget you applied to a SA and focus on plan your A-Z and it will go by faster. In general for everyone do not ask for stats from those who are already in because it might give you a heart attack, and I understand it might be hard not to ask because you see other people getting appointments but just be strong and remain positive. Unfortunately you have to understand that not everyone is going to secure a nomination and get into the academy.
 
Feelin bout same. Good way to look at it. Ma nominations go in so late it's frustrating to say the least. Nominations made so late than review. Than appointment or not. How long can one wait?
 
I just learned I got a nomination from Rep. Clark 5th District! I still haven't heard anything from Senator Markey and Warren though.
