Hi all, I have a close friend who just started Beast today. I'm wondering when I send him mail, will he have access to envelopes, stamps, etc. or should I send him some of those to make it easier for him? Thanks for all the help!

He probably has stationery and stamps and New Cadets aren't supposed to receive packages during CBT so don't mail him those things. Mail is always appreciated by New Cadets but you might not get a return letter because they are so busy and any down time is usually spent sleeping or preparing for the next day.

Thank you! I will keep in mind his busy schedule though. I don't mind not receiving replies, I just want to send some words of encouragement!

I think it's a great thought to send letters. I know my son encouraged as much as possible. It is also a great idea to send a piece of paper, along with a self addressed stamped envelope. That makes it easy. You may not get a long response, but I bet you get one, and your letter will be well received, I promise.

Thank you, brovol! It's hard to miss a friend (I'm sure a son is another level for sure) but I want to do whatever I can to make Beast slightly more tolerable. Maybe he can return the favor next year after I apply!
