Making my Decision

Hello!

So, I'm just wondering. I've been offered appointment to USMA Class of 2016. I'm still having a hard time deciding between Army and Navy, both of which are great divisions of the military however I have yet to hear from Navy. Anyway, am I allowed to accept the appointment to USMA and get the paperwork rolling, and possibly later decline the appointment if I change my mind and go with Navy instead?

Once you accept your appointment to one, you are automatically disqualified from receiving an appointment from any of the other academies for that cycle. If you are undecided, hold onto the appointment. You technically have until May 1st or some time around there to decide. With that being said, once you have made your decision, turn the stuff in so that you can get started on the paperwork and you are not holding an appointment from someone else.
