I think the Military is setting a September timeline to “prepare” to provide vaccines to all service members. As for the approval of the vaccine… the FDA has not indicated when it will grant full approval.
The estimated earliest time is 27 Oct 2020 for Moderna and 31 Jan 2023 for Pfizer.
Some hurdles they are facing:
- Johnson & Johnson vaccine now has to attach a warning label for Guillain-barre syndrome (GBS) - GBS is a neurological disorder in which the body's immune system damages nerve cells, causing muscle weakness or in severe cases, paralysis (Source FDA)
- Pfizer and Moderna now have to attach a warning label for heart inflammation in children and young adults (source FDA)
- There have been recent reports of hemorrhage, blood clots, and thrombocytopenia following administration of Covid-19 vaccines that have raised concerns over the safety of genetic vaccines for people with pre-existing coagulation disorders or those on certain medications (Source NIH)
- Many children with no underlying conditions developing myocarditis and pericarditis after the Covid vaccine
- Deaths after Covid vaccinations have sky-rocketed to over 9,000. (Source VAERS)
- Moderna is launching studies of 1,000 women to determine if their vaccine is causing miscarriages.
I am not for or against the vaccine, but I am very concerned about the data. Just some food for thought.
