When we visited USAFA in November, at the Visitor's Center there was a map that showed blue blobs where candidates came/come from. I was super interested, but it was the end of the day and they were closing down and the weather (freezing rain) was getting REALLY bad- so we headed out. I would have liked to internalize it more...and for some silly reason I didn't think to take a picture of it.
This really has nothing to do with actual applications, etc- merely fulfilling my curiosity. Throughout my DS's life we have had three states we have called "home" and it's kind of fun to see how cadet applications stack up between the three. I guess I am really interested in statistics!
