nada from the mailman

the mailman comes and goes.......all we got was info from Norwegian Cruise line.....wait should it be a sign????? okay just joking.....Nothing happening in Florida......
 
Hey Objee... regarding those 14 appoinments so far for RA..... when were they sent?? These other moms on the site freaking... :shake::shake::shake:

Scholarships are coming in... with deadlines to accept or decline looming.

They were all mailed this week...the second and third (of six) RA rounds concluded today, so we'll have more appointments going out next week. The reevaluations for EA deferrals begin on Monday, so those results won't be coming for a few weeks.
 
That was good intel for us Objee. Thanks. Since re-evals of EA

deferrals won't begin until Monday, I know that we can give the mailman a break for at least a week or more.

That sounds promising :smile: A re-applicant is considered RA, correct? His application was complete on Jan 16 or so. Would have been Nov 1st except for the first semester grades.

....so given the latest info from Objee, I am guessing we aren't in the first group of 14. So, maybe next week.

Yes...all reapply applicants are reviewed during Regular Admissions (if they are attending college) since we require a final/complete fall semester transcript for their evaluation. If you take the date on his "...your record has been forwarded to the CCEB" letter and add five weeks, you'll have an approximate date of when his notification letter will be mailed.

LOL... I am not expecting a RA.. I am wanting those CGAS envelopes sent... :shake:

So has the CGA thought about adding a page to their online logon to the CGA site with information??? a portal like the other Academies have? Might make a lot of kids and parents stress level go down.. after all we sent those packages off back in October... (some have been waiting since earlier last year)

How are application files grouped in the first place? Is it rather random as to when--meaning, which round--the application gets reviewed? Or does it have to do with when the completed application requirements were received?
I suppose there is some criteria by which they can offer appointments with each group, but still have space available for appointing folks from the last group to be reviewed?? Years of honing the admission process, no doubt, make it work...

Son is more on top of it than I am. Found it and it is dated Feb 6th. So.....fast forward five weeks and that means March 13th. So we are in the ballpark folks! :thumb::thumb::thumb:

Ok. Back to patiently waiting.

...so, if RA appointments are coming out before EA deferrals, according to my very scientific calculations, shellz should be the first of us to hear the good news!! Fingers are crossed for you and yours and I really do hope you are the one to lead us all in the victory dance of the big white envelopes:shake:
