Minnesota is 9-21 and getting easily handled right now by Maryland. No wonder they confuse March Madness.
I am waiting for the brackets. Syracuse sucks. So I am pulling for Dayton if they get in.
Looking at UCLA, Kansas, and Purdue. Not falling for Gonzaga again.

Gotta vouch for this! No state high-school tournament can match the Minnesota State Boys Hockey Tournament. (The girls’ version is awesome too, just with smaller crowds.) We were from the town that, whenever its team made the state tourney, 95% of the people in the sold-out, 20,000-seat arena would chant, “The whole state hates you. The whole state hates you.” Good times!

DS and his battalion went to Normandy for spring break to study the D-Day invasion. They were able to watch their team win from a restaurant in Paris!
What a great spring break! But I am a history geek.

Yeah, I had to pick U of A since I live an hour from there.
Was a pretty stunning loss. Wildcat fans are incredibly loyal and devout. I have not reached out to my son's CFA proctor/teacher to check in. She played for U of A, coached BB for decades at the high school level and has been a season ticket holder for decades. It's too soon.
I think I'll take Duke for the win. Or Xavier. Don't have a dog in the fight but what the heck.

I live about a mile from one of FDU's campuses and the NYC area news was pretty giddy with ANOTHER Cinderella NJ team taking
down a high flying team. Second year in a row a small NJ college takes down Purdue.

My friend’s wife is from Jersey. D1 Rutgers athlete. She nailed the pick.
Her whole bracket looks great. She said Rutgers beat them so she thought Purdue wasn’t good.

Back in my day, FDU was known as "Fairly Ridiculous" and didn't have a good academic reputation. I wonder if that is still the case.
But couldn't believe how they handled Purdue. I think I heard the announcer state that they only had 4 wins last year. What a turnaround.

I heard that 4 win, as well. I was wondering if FDU won? Or Perdue lost? I know it’s semantics, but also a reality.
My teams dropped eggs. Meh. One loosing a nice lead in the final minutes. Another, having the WORST game of their careers. Sure hate to see that, but it happens.
I am not sure FDU believes they won, yet.
Saw a statistic: 0 perfect, of 20 million brackets, after FDU’s win.
It’ll be interesting to see how FDU does going forward.
