Did anyone watch Kentucky v Cincinnati? OH MY GOSH!!! What a first half!
 
It is difficult when I am able to watch so few of the games. It's nice to log into the website and see how I've fared for the day. The good news is I'm still ahead of LITS! Go Badgers!

ok, I can't even look: is it true Kentucky lost to the Dayton Flyers?
 
To be written on my blackboard 100 times: I will never again bet against a team coached by Izzo, not even if they are a number 2 seed!
 
So, I'm an MSU alum....and I adore Izzo. But this team...all year long has not been "one of his better teams". Izzo always kills it in March but I didn't take the spartans past UVA for the 2nd year in a row! Happy with this bust in my bracket. Turns out Izzo is 13-1 lifetime v. UVA. Lesson learned. He almost always makes the sweet 16.
 
My Badgers won and I've moved back up to 3rd place. Unfortunately the Badgers will now have to lose to keep my plans afloat. Nice to see only 40 points separate the top 8 places. When the games resume on Thursday the lead will be up for grabs!

OK... I watched the Cinci-KY game... don't know what my neighbor was thinking (other than he's trying to talk me into adopting his St Bernard puppy which gained 16 pounds in 11 days).

My brackets are busted.

The other headline you heard was in the Women's NCAA...I heard the same thing and was blown away for a few moments, until I realized it couldn't be...

DS Cats are still in there, for at least three more days...They have a tendency to sleep walk through the first half of most games...I would love to see them get another shot at Wisconsin. Last year's OT loss still hurts.

Well, I bet a lot of folks picked Virginia. It's not just how well you pick, but how poorly others pick. Be brave. GO look. It's not like you have a fortune on the line.
 
No way does the most devoted basketball fan win this years tournament. It is seemingly random sometimes who wins a matchup based on season performance. That is what makes March madness so much fun. It reminds me of one of my favorite SNL skits involving Payton Manning picking his teams and getting beat by a Amy Pohler who was playing a woman who knew nothing about basketball and picked teams based on mascots and team colors. With that said, I should do fine based on the random way in which I picked my teams.
 
Um, my ranking is 96,303. Not in much danger of getting that hearty handshake, ya know?
 
Well, y'all better beware! I have moved up in the national rankings from 330,000+ (despicable) to (take a breath) 66,000 and some.

I am so so so tempted to go with Arizona as my finalist. I won't, but the temptation exists.
 
Fencersmother...Arizona has too many people talking about them...The louder it gets, the more they cave...Still, I would love to see them get revenge for last year's overtime loss to Wisconsin.

A year ago, DS had gone to watch the game at a friend's house. It was an extra 1/2 hour before the crowd dispersed, and they reopened the street in front of his apartment. Not a problem this year as most of the battalion is out in the desert on FTX!

Maybe we'll see a Wildcat/Wildcat game? Fingers crossed!
