Hey all just wanted to know if anyone has gotten any information back on the scholarship

Don't know anything yet. Portal says "at marine Corps district for selection. Photo and transcripts processing." Its said that for 3 months now, kind of getting annoyed. Recruiting officer said he still had action to take... for 3 months now. Interview was done in Sept.
 
better than the alternative. There have been plenty of rejections.
 
Regular Board results were due to Marine Recruiting Command on 1 March. I'm not sure when results go out, probably in a few weeks.
 
Every RS district may do it differently, but when my son was selected, he got a call soon after the board met. The portal updated a couple of weeks later.
 
Do all winners get a call? When I got the Navy option and Army scholarships, I found out via a mass email or the portal being updated.

Hard to say. Each recruiting district may do it differently. The RS in my son's district called. Generally speaking, those selected *should* know before those not selected.
 
DS received a call from the district officer selection officer (OSO). The portal was updated about a week later.
 
I received a personal visit from the commanding officer and them got a mass email. I've heard that other people just got the mass email but every district does it differently. However, I would assume that they would personally visit you because that's just how the Marine Corps operates. Best of luck to you!
 
I received a call from my district's executive officer (the officer that was presenting my package to the selection board).
 
My selection officer sent out an email this morning saying that the results are out for them, but they aren't allowed to release them yet. I think it should be in the next week or two.
