To add to the previous post: For future members here is how my interviews were set up.

Mikulski (although she is retiring) - 5-minute interview (with 2 or 3 person panel)
~ They asked as many questions as they could fit in the 5 minute window.

Cardin - 10 to 15 minute interview (with 2 person panel)
~ Around 5 questions (most centered on what I would do if something happaned.)

Congressman Delaney (6th District) - 15 minute (with a 6 or 8 person panel)
~ 4 questions (+ followup questions to each)

Congressman Cummings (7th district)- 15 minutes, four person panel.
~2 questions per person

Congressman Ruppersberger (2nd District) 15 minutes, four person panel.
~4 questions (+follow up questions to each)

How do you have 3 congressman interviews? Don't you have to live in a specific district to get that nomination?

I think laxer98 is just trying to summarize as much info as he has found out by himself and from others for the candidates in the future.

Everyone has the following nomination options: Two senators, one congressman and the Vice President. Then those who are involved in certain JROTC units have that as a possible option. Then there are a certain very select group that based on their parents military service and sacrifice have the Presidential nomination as an option.

If you look at the previous pages, other members have additionally posted their interview styles (I only interviewed with the Congressman Delaney).

I know that this year I was always wondering what to expect during the interviews, and decided to post mine to help ease the tension off a little from future applicants.

And for those waiting for Cardin. Last time I applied (Class of 2019) I heard from him around mid to late January, I believe I got my letter around the 20th.

From what I learned, Cardin is one of the last in MD to give a nomination because he doesn't want to give a double nomination to those who receive one from Mikulski or their Congressman. Cardin is, without a doubt, trying his hardest to get as many nominations to different people as possible.

I'm still waiting to hear from him as well. Best of luck to you all!

Check your portals as well. My nominations showed up there before I received a letter.
