Maryland Nominations

I am guessing that since Cardin's office will notify last week of Jan., that they will of course work with the rest of the MOC meaning that they will too. Just my guess. Last year, I received nominations around Jan 14th. Different this year since its the 20th.
 
Did it come in the mail or was it a phone call? Waiting on word for USMA
 
Portal update. I did not receive a nomination for USMA unfortunately. I have a LOE and a completed application. I also received a nomination to USMA last year, but in all I am blessed to have received "a" nomination.
 
Didn't get one from Cardin. Found out that I got USNA and USMA nominations MD03. Good luck to you all!
 
dkdino- My congressman didn't give me a nomination. Also under "nomination source" it said "Congress/Senator 1"
 
Congratulations to all who received a congressional nomination!! Those that did not, remember that you can still apply for a Vice Presidential nomination and/or JROTC (verify that your unit is an honor unit or along those lines). Remember, all you need is nomination, you dont care where/how Admissions slots your appointment. After you get that BFE, complete Plebe Summer, a member of your states congressional group (senators/congressmen/congresswoman) will take credit for you being there, as it looks good to their constituents back home. Lastly, if you have applied for all nominating sources but have not heard anything, dont lose all hope yet. Contact your BGO, and remind them that you are open to either NAPS/Foundation scholarship.

For those who got a nom, now the roller coaster starts going back up the hill or down again, lol, waiting on the BFE. Remember most will go out between February and March
