Mass Appointments

KPmum, don't worry about me stressing out. It's the good kind of stress for me because it keeps me wanting to move forward to make sure I don't screw up over these last few months. I know that a lot of things come with time and patience.

And for fellow Portal fans here is a link I think you will find very interesting.

And just to avoid any confusion later on, I haven't actually played the official Portal game because my computer is too slow, but I would jump at the opportunity to actually get to play it. (must get invited to friend's house!!!!!)

Portal: Still Alive is also on the Xbox Live Arcade, with all the levels from the original plus some new ones.

What was this thread about again?

If only I had a gaming system other than a gamecube or extremely old Sony Game Gear. Sorry guys I am really outdated. :frown:

Last year mine came march 29th

Just wondering how competitive you were. Trying to figure out when I'll get mine. The admissions officer at the Academy told me I had a pretty good ranking, so does that mean I might hear soon? I know that this might mean nothing, and/or this is what a lot of people hear during this part of the process, but I'm wondering if this is a glimpse of hope for me. Sorry for being a little too selfish...I'm nervous along with the rest or ya'll.

i'd imagine so. but, the best thing to do is to try to relax and not stress over it. it's your senior year, so make it the best. there's only a few weeks left. if you've lasted this long, you'll probably get some good news down the pike.

try to focus your attention elsewhere to ease the pressure. for example, you say you're a C/2d Lt. so, try shootin' for that Earhart if you haven't already gotten it. maybe you're a soccer player or track/field guru. focus on that, etc.

Im still waiting too, but this year is going by fast and I have learned patience very well :thumb:

Last night I had a dream that I logged into the online application (like I do everyday) and the status changed to "Appointment Offered." I was really disappointed upon waking up. :frown:

Lol...I had that same dream few nights ago. And I remember feeling intensely disappointed as well. Hang in there though, we'll all find out soon enough.

Perhaps good things are coming your way??? One night I dreamt that a friend of mine received an offer of appointment to AFA (didn't really apply). That day in the mailbox, my offer arrived. Keep the spirits up!

In my dream I was magically at the first day of BEAST and I was really confused because I couldn't remember if I had received an appointment or not. But none the less I was extremely happy!---well for the first few hours...What a let down.

I know of a certain twin, now I'm not saying just who mind you, who was so excited when the appointment offer came, that he cracked the screen on his monitor. Not dreaming.

HAHAHAHA! Same, cept I was at USMA!

Another dream was me recieving my appointment to USMA

I just joined and see that all of you seem to be in the same boat with us! I told my son a few days ago to stay confident. " ..the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied." I know you have all worked tirelessly for this goal. If God wills it, you'll reach it. Know that I admire you all for setting such an awesome goal and working so long and hard to achieve it. You are all winners in my book!

I was told by admissions counselor I would hear yes or no by March 27th. I gathered this applied to everyone.
