I'm currently in my 3rd year as an AFROTC cadet. I have braces and my doctor says I need maxillofacial surgery to correct my bite. My question is, will this surgery get me thrown out of the program? If so, are waivers applicable? Are these things difficult to get waived?
I have to be done with braces and all treatment before commissioning per DoDMERB.
