hi everyone,
i was medically dq'd in december, one reason optometry-related and the other "Current deformities, disease, or chronic joint pain of pelvic region, thigh, lower leg, knee, ankle or foot." this was a hamstring injury that occured in july of last year and has since gotten better. i will be going in for a followup exam next week, and was wondering if sending the doctors report to dodmerb might speed up the process. i have been stuck on "under waiver review" on the dodmerb portal for 3 months and was informed by my admissions counselor at usna that they would be initiating a waiver request for me in february. however, dodmerb has not requested any AMIs or anything since the dq. i wanted to ask for your input before my exam and before sending another email to my admissions officer. thank you!
