I was disqualified from service due to a few mental health claims made by a doctor earlier in life that was only resolved on my medical record after my DoDMERB process. I received a DoDMERB update on behalf of the Academy that states I am "Awaiting Receipt of Remedial" and that "I must complete AMI(s) before waiver processing may be considered."
Over the summer of 2022, I had an accident that resulted in me breaking my jaw, which was surgically corrected and has healed completely with no long-term repercussions. I had a hairline fracture in my first rib, which also healed independently without necessary intervention. I am back 100% and in better shape than before my accident, evidenced by my PFA.
I submitted all the necessary updates to my AMI, including this accident and procedure.
Do you know if there is anything I should be concerned about regarding this waiver process? What does this update mean in the grander scheme of the application?
