Not an expert here- just a mom- here's what was helpful to me
-I read the document which lays out all the possible DQs- it was pretty clear where the potential problems were

-I then requested the records relevant to the issues we knew about
-When the DQ came the records were on hand and it was quick and easy to copy and mail them
I would only request eye and dental records if you are aware of potential problems. From reading past DODMERB threads it appears that eye issues are usually addressed with further testing at the direction, expense, and facilities of DODMERB.
The most common dental issue I've seen on here is simply needing to verify that orthodontia will be complete and removed prior to arrival.
