What does the medical screening on I-day consist of? Do docs actually give a physical or is it just more of a review of medical records and some questions? I can't imagine they can do 1,100 physicals in one day.

Your medical paperwork will be reviewed. Most of this you print out from the Appointee Kit (Airmanship Options/Medical Screening) but they may also want to see your immunization records.

Also, if you have a "Check on Entry" waiver for a medical condition, they will review all the information you bring and evaluate your suitability for training (this is rare, and you would know if you are in "Check on Entry" status).

If we are on check on entry status, what does this entail? How often are people turned away for a check on entry problem?
