Medical Waiver for AROTC still under review!

I don't understand why my DSs medical waiver still says under review!!!! The disqualification didn't even require a Dr. appointment. He just had to explain a small patch of eczema on the bend of his arm. He doesn't have it anywhere else and he only gets it during wrestling season. He doesn't even have it now. I have email the AROTC command and have gotten no response. I am starting to panic!! Can someone please direct me to where I can find out what the hold up is?
 
Well...you...are not the applicant. Your DS can email me at lawrence.e.mullen.civ@mail.mil; provide complete name and last 4; and paste the posting above to the email...provided he even knows you made the posting :wiggle:
 
It's the Army. They take a long time. I've been under review for a waiver for 1.5 months now and am expecting to be waiting at LEAST another couple weeks. I've seen a lot of postings here for this year's cycle saying it took about 2-3 months to hear back so I'd expect to wait at least that long.

If you think you're going crazy waiting, imagine how us scholarship recipients feel.
 
Folks.....There is a pandemic ongoing....There are no normal operations....Everyone is teleworking....so, unless it's me....you might want to manage your expectations :wiggle:
 
OP, back in 2013 it took 90 days for DS to get reviewed and waived... I would expect at least 90 days from submission. good luck
 
Many things have changed since 2013....Mental/behavioral health decisions will take a much longer time than other medical conditions...The Command Surgeon's Office has a good turn-around time for their recommendations, but "decisions" are made by Brigade Commanders :wiggle:
