Any help will be appreciated. Question regarding the correspondence and Medical Status on the DODMerb site. My son got accepted on USAFA Prep but got DQ'd due to a knee dislocation Dec 2019 - had a surgery on Jan 2020 after 2-3 months of PT was fully cleared by PT and Doctor on April 2020. Since then he's been doing TKD, Muay Thai, Ju Jitsu (late last year), swimming, track, cross country, Soccer for fun, at one point Volleyball. But anyway, on DODMerb correspondence, May 15, he was DQ'd, May 15 - Req's Administrativ AMI-It said to provide additional information regarding the dislocation. It also said Does not require a physician's apt. (I requested from the doctor's office all the records which they said takes at least 2 weeks) then another correspondence on May 22 - This time it says it needs Medical AMI (Physicians apt). With "Active Medical Codes: R259.01 - Waiver AUthority additional Information and R221.05 - Consult with an Orthopedic Surgeon regarding knee... etc". We got CIV to look for a doctor. But they had a hard time looking up to now. But to be on the safe side, we called the original Orthopedic Surgeon and he was able to set up an appointment for June 6, 2 days ago, (with a lot of begging because they said Dr fully book till July). Anyway, on May 30th, I was able to get all the Drs records and sent them via email (6 part emails since they can only attach 5MB of attachment). I mentioned in the last email that we are still waiting for the Dr. Apt. We received emails confirming receipts. On DODMerb updated of Correspondence on May 30 - with the same info as May 22. Then another DQ correspondence on May 31. With Active Medical Codes for why it was DQ'd. Current Medical Status on top says "Under Medical Review" still but the correspondence and Active codes are confusing. Which one is it? Does anybody know about the timeline? Why did it DQ'd him again AFTER we submitted the Administrative AMI documents. Please see the screenshots. Just worried because we have been receiving the luncheon email etc but cannot proceed because we are waiting for the Medical Waiver. We also sent the information to DODMerb yesterday, the letter with an assessment from the Orthopedic Surgeon (from the June 6 visit). Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
