Medical Waiver Question

My son was disqualified for a medical condition. The notice, on his online status profile, had the following statement "Stand by for Waiver". Does that mean he is being considered for a medical waiver? That notice went up about six weeks ago. Since that time we have not received any further information either online or in the mail. Just curious if anyone has any experience in these matters.

I'd have your DS reach out to his RC and find out if they have requested the waiver on your son's behalf.

My son was a DQ as well; kept in contact with RC; waiver was approved last week. It took 2 months from the point DODMERB determined he was a DQ until the waiver was approved.
