Memorial Day and Class of 2013 liberty question

We are thinking of bringing our DS home for Memorial Day weekend but the Regimental Calander says:

"Liberty expires for all members of the Regimental Band, the Class of 2013 and Midshipmen Petty Officers at 0600 for the purpose of marching in the Memorial Day Parade. Midshipmen NOT marching in the Parade liberty expires for 3/c at 1900, and 2/c at 2000. Liberty granted Midshipmen in the marching contingent and not restricted, upon return to the Academy from the Parade".

Our DS is not in the Regimental Band, so is the entire class of 2013 marching in the parade or just those in the Band? Has anyone else asked about this?

Usually the entire Plebe class will march in this parade. Best to check with your individual M/N.
 
I believe the entire Plebe Class marches in the Parade, one of the best things about the regiment is drill. When my DS was at KP he loved the regiment. Hooah regiment oorah drill yut yut!

Yes as KP2001 said, best to check with your MN. And Yes the entire Plebe Class marches in the Memorial Day parade, even if they are not band :rolleyes:. If you can you may want to go to KP that weekend and visit your child....The parade is actually fun to watch and the entire town of Great Neck is there lining the streets watching it too.
 
I should know better by now... my DS2013 assured me that memorial weekend was a regimental holiday and everybody had liberty. Not only did we buy his plane ticket but it was quite a bit more expensive than usual.:cool:
