I live two miles from the museum. Visit a few times a year.
Our local USNA Alumni chapter along with the USMA and USAFA alumni chapters hold a ceremony every Memorial Day weekend at our local National Cemetary to remember and honor our fellow SA graduates who are buried there. One of those buried there, along with his fellow PBY crew members is LCDR Bruce Van Voorhis, the USNA graduate and MOH recipient who was a central part of President Trumps graduation speech on Friday. Attached is a photo of his gravesite.
People sleep safe in their beds at night only because Men/Women stand ready to visit violence on those who would do us harm.
Why the sudden rash of posts about a USMC Museum event (And I love the USMC museum) that happened 2 years ago?
In any case, hope all our fallen heroes rest in peace.
