I received an email after submitting my USAFA summer seminar application instructing me to reach out to my "Mentor ALO." What exactly should I be reaching out about?

I personally reached out to them introducing myself, saying that I had completed my Summer Seminar app, and that they were listed as my Mentor ALO. They responded back saying that they wanted to meet on call for a short Q&A session (which I'm actually still waiting for).

Mentor ALOs are assigned based on school and they are there to help out the student if they have any specific questions on the process or about USAFA. My DD also got a similar email and the Mentor ALO reached out to her via email and let her know that he would like to meet her and us (parents) sometime soon. In response she introduced herself to the Mentor ALO.

If you have a Mentor ALO that is responsive - it's a great resource as an applicant. My DS reached out to his multiple times through out the process and never heard back so if you have one that is engaging - that's wonderful! You don't know what you don't know - so any conversation could prove helpful.
