Mid-Year Grades

Hi all,

From what I've read, many candidates have been requested to send in their mid-year (7th semester) grades. However, I haven't been asked to send my grades in. Should I be worried? My academics aren't my strength, but they aren't too bad as well. Thanks for the help.
 
Some are asked. I don't think it is many, that is difficult to quantify. I would not read anything into whether you got a request or not.
 
Do they request mid-year grades from the candidate or from the candidate's school?
 
Same. USNA didn't request 7th semester transcripts, although AC did allow me to send them in for consideration.
 
No, the question is, if the Academy wants mid year grades, do they contact the candidate or the candidate's school? My DS had a rough 7th semester, so we were crossing our fingers no one would ask. My husband just noticed a new transcript was loaded in the portal. Two days ago we saw my son's college counselor and asked if he'd been asked , he said no. We saw the transcript update yesterday, emailed him and he told us that they had been asked. We think the office sent out automatically, forgetting we'd asked them to only send if asked.
 
OK I STAND CORRECTED! DS is apparently lurking out there today - the sneak! He sent them to USMMA because they are required. Not sent to USNA and has not been requested - there, happy now? :oops2:
 
My DD sent her AC an email asking if she should send her mid-year grades. (Grades are her strong point). They replied no.
Not sure what to think about that.....
